Paris
- In Marais : Domingoroom
Great welcome and atmosphere. Jean-Paul and Domingo bend over backwards to give you a pleasant stay.
Prefer staying in Beaubourg (owner 's flat), or choose Marais option if you want to be independent (but it's cramped and not functional).
Xmas 2011 : Wishing coming back, I booked up 4 nights asking for Beaubourg option. All was fine (deposit paid) except that 3 weeks later Domingo layed down Marais option because another guest wished Beaubourg option for a longer stay than mine.
All the more so since Xmas 2010, I stayed 10 days in Beaubourg and Marais.
At 1st floor. Very nice and very functional. Modern fitting-out. Stanislas and Mauricio did a very good job. Well done !

I found out this hotel converted to guest house in June 2013. It's 7 rue des Vertus in 3rd district, close to square du Temple. (M° Arts et Métiers line 3).

Welcome very friendly, all is well fit out. Self-service breakfast is various and hearty. Note that bathroom has gotten 2 showers.
In the area, you'll find out many jewels wholesalers and asian people. Close to the hotel, 2 little restaurants (one asian, other arabic).
Or walk thru "rue des Vertus", turn left in rue Gravilliers, at first crossroad of "rue du Temple" you'll see restaurant "Roi de Pique" (n°126).

In a pedestrianized street close to place Vaucanson. 260 different teas. Excellent price quality.

- Open-air market close to the butcher's shop : picturesque. Come during weekend to see bio producers.
