Provence - French Riviera
During my childhood I had the opportunity to go all over this part of France and I went back a couple of days in June 2010.
I'm gonna try to encourage you to visit it while displaying some pictures.
Of course, many of them 'll be missing because so many spots to see.
The gorges of Verdon and the countryside just inland from Nice as well as Port-Cros National Park coming from Le Lavandou harbor.
I 'll point out a few hotels and restaurants where I stayed.
Here are some pictures.

Some tips
Aiguines
A long time ago I stayed in Chanteraine, outside the village.
I kept good memories of that hotel which looks like an old manor where I slept in a bed with canopy.
The atmosphere was so good with the staff and other customers that we stay longer.
This time, we got to hotel Vieux Château, in the center of the village.
Prices were reasonable and welcome was nice.
Le Lavandou
We stayed in Auberge de la Calanque.
The website is pretty basic so here are some pictures.
The hotel is great and the staff very friendly. I got an upgraded bedroom with a big terrace for free.
Port-Cros
We got lunch in restaurant l'Anse de Port-Cros, specialist of fishes sold by the only fisherman allowed by NP staff.
Welcome was very friendly and we got 2 times a free spicy punch. I must say that we paid an heavy bill but it's worth it.
There are so many other places to see ( Mercantour, Mons, ... )
Don't miss to go and visit this part of France .... but avoid July & August !
